About Locale:
Locale allows users to manage and create locations using an intuitive interface based on the Maps API. Locations can be moved and re-sized using a touch-based drag and drop interface. Locations may be used to specify conditions and may also be reused by other applications
Users specify locations, times, and other conditions to trigger on. Location conditions utilize Android’s location API for high precision GPS positioning. Conditions may also communicate with other parts of Android via Intents and ContentProviders for a highly integrated system.

Locale is not currently available here. Once it is we’ll be sure to up the download link! It may actually come with the G1 in the android market
Im recently new to the G1 community, but i would like to see an app that saves your favorite places, such as, if i loved this new resturante, i could use like a GPS “thumbnail” and if the next week i wanted that same kind of food, it would show me where it is. or something like that, and if an app could tell you were are your other friends are, i think the iphone has something like this?!
I’d with Chris on the bookmarks that you could use on your GPS interface to tag your fav places. iPhone does have such an application. How about G1?
It looks good and I’d like to try it. Where do I download it?
