ICE
ICE (In Case of Emergency) is a G1 app that provides useful medical and emergency contact information to first responders, EMS, and hospitals in case you ever need medical attention and are unable to provide it yourself. The app comes with an optional custom lock screen that allows first responders to dial from within the app even when the phone is locked. You can set contact numbers of family, your primary care doctor, and insurance service. The app also allows you to enter your current prescription information, any allergies, insurance card details (including your membership number), and any relevant special instructions.
The custom lock screen is optional, but is pretty unobtrusive and still offers other useful information such as battery status and a clock layered over your existing wallpaper. If you decide to not set this new lock screen as your default, it is recommended that you set the app icon on your home screen for easy access. The app comes with useful notifications and tips so that emergency personnel know what to do once they find your G1. This is one of the better health-related G1 apps, and a great tool for anyone with potentially urgent medical concerns.

I’m with you on that one, Cate. There’s nothing in the Market for the G1. I, too, searched “ICE”, “Emergency” and “I.C.E.”.
Makes me think that someone is pulling the wool over people’s eyes with a neat Photoshopped jpeg, or something.
I went into the market today and typed in ICE. I was able to quickly locate 2 apps. 1 is free, the other you must pay to use. I’ve checked out the free application and think its great. They may have recently added it, so check it out.

I’m not finding this ap on my phone (looking thru the market). I’ve searched “ICE” and also “In Case of Emergency”. Would really like to have it.
