I think we all know how the economy is affecting us. Our last post as about the Google Finance application which has to do with stocks and quotes but this once is a little bit different. ContactsSync application can connect to your Exchange server and load your contacts right into the phone.

Once you have downloaded the ContactsSync to your T Mobile G1 phone, the application icon will appear on your phone desktop. To run the application, click on this icon

Setting it up is very simple. You only need to run the application, go to Menu>Settings and enter your email address and the password of your Exchange email account. The advanced setup is available, if you want to change or manually configure the Exchange Web Services address.

Synchronization works in a straightforward and direct way: ContactsSync connects to your Exchange server and loads your contacts right into your phone. To start loading your contacts from Exchange, run the application and click on the “Load contacts” button.

Locale allows users to manage and create locations using an intuitive interface based on the Maps API. Locations can be moved and re-sized using a touch-based drag and drop interface. Locations may be used to specify conditions and may also be reused by other applications

Users specify locations, times, and other conditions to trigger on. Location conditions utilize Android’s location API for high precision GPS positioning. Conditions may also communicate with other parts of Android via Intents and ContentProviders for a highly integrated system.
