ServerUp
ServerUp is a utility that allows you to check the status of your web servers. Be the first to know your server is down. ServerUp is configurable to check the status as often as you would like. You have the ability to enter the hostname and port number you would like to check. If the server found to be down, ServerUp will displacy a red circle, otherwise it will display a green circle. ServerUp is very customizable, you can set notifications such as alerts (sounds / visual notifications).
ServerUp was designed to run on the Android OS.
Other functionality includes, Ping, Trace Route, and WhoIs. To access this functionality, you just long press on the host you would like to issue the request, you will then be moved to another screen to view the data. Speed of application is dependent on your network or internet speed.
