PKT Auctions eBay Application
I spend quite a lot of time reading comments on the Android Market. Seems like quite a few people are getting upset with the lack of gotta-have-it applications. Well finally one has been released. If I’m looking to get a deal on an item – one of the first places I check is eBay. No, it’s not as cheap as it used to be but every now and then you can get away with a steal.
I’m actually surprised it took them so long to release this application. Half of us who own a G1 are tech savvy and have probably spent a few bucks on eBay, some probably even bought their G1′s on eBay. Anyways, the PKT Auctions Apps interface is just beautiful. Less than two minutes into using the application and it definitely ranked at the top of my list.
It searches smoothly and a lot quicker than it would on the browser. It makes it simple to bid and win an auction. One of my favorite features is the live chat feature. It works quite well and hopefully will give developers insight into creating a chat application for the G1.
Aside – If any developers read this site, create a chat application which can/but is not limited to sorting G1 users by GPS so they can chat locally,state,country..etc. It would definitely be a hit.
Anyways, enough of me talking. I recorded a video the best I could so everyone who doesn’t have a G1 can take a took.
